What are sequential order numbers?

With sequential order numbers, you define how order numbers are assigned on the platform. This provides a clear structure and seamless integration with your ERP system.

Setting sequential order numbers

  1. Navigate to Settings > Sequential order number
Click Edit to open the configuration. sequential


  1. Choose between:

    • Standard numbering (automatically sequential).

    • Customer-specific order number (combination freely selectable).

  2. Enter your required values:

    • Prefix of the order number, e.g. S2

    • Start number (e.g. "001")

  3. End number (e.g. "999")

  4. Save your settings.
  5. Tips for use:
    - Use a unique prefix so that orders can be allocated quickly.
    - Make sure the number range is large enough to cover future orders.
    - Sequential numbering ensures consistency and prevents duplicate numbers.
