Data Transfer Format ASCII V6

The ASCII V6 data format is used for the standardized transfer of order data between simple system and vendors. It consists of four record types (INFO, HEAD, LINE, FOOT), each containing different information. Fields are separated by the pipe character (|).

Record type (INFO)

• Vendor number (20 Char)

• Vendor name (40 Char)

• Version (e.g., V6.0)

Note: If a specific vendor number is maintained, it is output. Otherwise, the internal S2 number is output.

Record type (HEAD)

Contains the header data:

• Transfer date (YYYYMMDD, 8 Dec)

• S2 customer number (7 Dec)

• Partner customer number (20 Char)

• S2 order number (20 Char)

• Shopper (first name, last name, 62 Char)

• Email address (30 Char)

• Phone number (30 Char)

• Factory identification (45 Char)

• Delivery address (multiple fields: company, street, postal code, city, country)

• Order text and additional texts (70 Char each)

• Currency (3 Char)

• Payment information (card no., expiry date, type, holder)

Note on payment information: Credit card data is only transferred if a credit card is stored in the customer account. Otherwise, the field remains empty.

• Classification data (type, version)

• Requested delivery date (10 Char)

• Alternate recipient (12 Char)

Record type (LINE)

Contains the line item data (one LINE row per order item):

• Accounting type (1 Char)

• Accounting values (64/24 Char)

• G/L account (20 Char)

• Order quantity (10,3 Float)

• Quantity unit (ISO, vendor)

• Material number (32 Char)

• Customer-specific article number (50 Char)

• Article description (130 Char)

• Classification (20 Char)

• Price unit (4 Dec)

• Price per unit (10,2 Float)

• Total price per line item (10,2 Float)

• Planned delivery time (4 Dec)

• VAT (1,3 Float)

• Additional texts (70 Char)

• EAN number (13 Char)

• Weight (4,3 Float, unit KG)

• Volume (4,3 Float, unit dm³)

• Country of origin (2 Char)

• Statistical commodity code (17 Char)

• URL for documents (80 Char)

• Custom Fields 1–5 (customer-specific additional fields, field lengths vary by customer configuration)

• Requested delivery date (10 Char)

• Purchase requisition (BANF) number (10 Char)

• Purchase requisition (BANF) item number (5 Char)

• Configuration code (100 Char)

Record type (FOOT)

Contains the closing data:

• Number of line items (3 Dec)

• Total price of all line items (10,2 Float)
