Overview of the Customers area

The "Customers" area is divided into several sections:

  • My customers
  • Requesting customers
  • Rejected customers

Here you can see all companies that are connected to your vendor account on the platform or have requested a connection.

Each customer has a customer profile. It brings together everything you need to manage that relationship: company details, activity, customer number and the features assigned to the customer.

The customer list can be narrowed down using search and the country filter.

Requesting customers

Companies that want to become your customers appear here. Click Process request to open the request. You will see who sent it, when it was requested, how many days it has been pending, the customer's message, the company size and the requested features.

Choose one of three actions:

  • Approve: the company becomes your customer.
  • Put on hold: select a reason and the date under Put on hold until. You will be notified when the request becomes active again. You can still approve or reject it at any time.
  • Reject: select a rejection reason. The customer is notified.

Available rejection reasons: "Wrong supplier account number or company", "Order volume too low", "We do not accept additional customers at the moment", "Limited customer target group", "Additional clarification required (internal or with simple system)", "No Information", "Other".

Available on hold reasons: "Your request is being processed", "Your catalogue will be created shortly", "Sales conditions are in clarification", "Additional clarification required (internal or with simple system)", "No information", "Other".

Partner customers

In the "My customers" area, you can see all customers you actively work with via the platform.

For each partner customer, various information and functions are available to you.

Customer profile
Click a customer to open its profile. It has these sections:

  • Company details: company and invoice address, main contact, billing & accounting contact, business type, currency, country of operation, website, terms of business and the invoice email address.
  • Customer number: the main number and, if available, an additional number.
  • Activity: request date, decisions, who made them and the reasons given.
  • Assigned features: tabs for Catalogues, Price lists, Article number lists, Availability & delivery times and Cart announcement. If nothing is assigned yet, a shortcut takes you to the matching area.

Assigning a customer number

For each partner customer, you can store an individual customer number.

This customer number is used for orders and can, for example, correspond to a customer number from your ERP system.

Rejected customers

Rejected requests stay visible here with their rejection date, the person who rejected them and the reason. You can still process a rejected request. Click Accept to approve the customer later.

Default customer number

In the top right of the "Customers" area, you can store a default customer number.

This default customer number is used for orders via the open marketplace

This means:

If a customer orders via a public catalogue, the default customer number defined there is automatically transmitted.

This number therefore serves as a fallback for orders from customers who are not set up as a partner customer.
